the Nigerian Police Force has explained why the arrest and detention of former governor Sule Lamido was necessary. Lamido, according to the Kano state police spokesperson, Samba Sokoto, made some inciting statements during Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) meeting in Dutse, Jigawa state.
